Home Detail at 9 W. Madison in Iola has specialized in kitchen and bath remodeling since moving into its present location in 1997.
Its showroom features many items such as kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, tubs and showers, counter tops, ceramic tile, floor covering and replacement windows. To make everything look complete Home Detail offers a full line of Davis paint, sundries, wallpaper, window treatments, door pulls, knobs and Heritage Lace.
Home Detail began as Johnson Construction in 1978 and then in 1987 incorporated. With the purchase of the old Iola Planing Mill on North Street, the business moved from Gas to Iola. In February 1997, the opportunity to purchase the Skidmore Davis Paint Store at the present location became available and Home Detail moved downtown. Home Detail can custom design and install a new kitchen, bath, or do a whole house remodel.
